A LECTURE SERIES WITH MARY WILD

Erotic Cinema Club is a 5 week lecture series that focuses on the depiction of sex and desire on film. Each week will explore particular themes including shame, fetish, taboo and addiction, looking at films from new queer cinema to international art films through a psychoanalytical lens.

The lectures will take place in the top floor drawing room of 23 Paul Street, a boutique house of striptease. Presented by Mary Wild, a psychoanalytical film researcher who has a deep interest in film authorship, in particular the works of Lynch, Kubrick, von Trier and Aronofsky.
